You are invited to the launch of the video ‘Remote Learning’ created by a small group of Catholic Primary Schools from the Archdiocese of Melbourne.

Remote Learning in 2020 changed everything.

It placed a spotlight on parent engagement in learning, blurring the lines between traditional roles for parents, children and teachers.

The video captures the voice of parents, children and school staff as they reflect on their experience of remote learning during COVID-19 restrictions. It highlights the importance of relationships between home and school. Insights reveal how remote learning “took parents into the classroom, and teachers into family homes.”

Professor Deb Pushor (Department of Curriculum Studies at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada) will launch the video and lead a conversation that explores how school communities can use this opportunity to move forward in our approaches to strengthening parent engagement in learning.

Join this conversation, have your say, share your thoughts and experience, be part of thinking about how we continue to grow parent engagement in learning.
